THE FLAVORFUL MARAIS

Take a trip through medieval Paris. The Marais escaped much of the redevelopment of Paris in the 1800s, and today it has the most pre-revolutionary buildings and houses left in-tact. Not only does the Marais have the richest assemblages of architecture of any neighborhood in Paris, but it is also a colorful place, filled with hip and trendy boutiques and restaurants.
